Hi and Welcome to Family & Kids-Care Foundation Inc.

Family and Kids-Care Foundation Inc. was established in 1992 for the disadvantaged in the community in need of a wide variety of Social Welfare Services.  These services include practical and emergency assistance, accommodation support and crisis care as well as the provision of support and educational/skills development programs aimed at helping people help themselves.  The Foundation was set up to empower people in the community with knowledge, skills and resources to become active and self-fulfilled members of the community for themselves and future generations because with knowledge comes strength.

The Foundation is Logan based but serves all those in need in South-East Queensland from Hervey Bay/Maryborough and Sunshine Coast in the north, Stanthorpe, Gatton, Toowoomba and Esk in the west, Gold Coast and Hinterland including Beaudesert in the south and Moreton Bay, Capalaba, Redland Bay etc. in the east.

Our Results

Family & Kids-Care Foundation Inc. is a leading South-East Queensland charity that assists disadvantaged people in the community. Listed below are some of our services:

• Food parcels through our Logan City Foodbank
• Counselling: making an impact on peoples lives.
• Financial assistance for utility bills (electricity, gas, pharmaceutical, telephone accounts, {books, excursions, shoes –school}  etc.
• Restoring peoples lives through job skills, substance abuse programs and emergency accommodation.
• Creating special memories for children who are disabled, terminally ill and intellectually disadvantaged by taking them to Dreamworld with their carers for a fully paid day out, this is done with the assistance of our sponsors.
• Accommodation Support and crisis care, supporting the homeless.
