Family & Kids-Care Foundation was established in 1992 for the disadvantaged in the community in need of a variety of Social Welfare Services.  These services include practical and emergency assistance and accommodation support and crisis care as well as the provision of support and educational/skills development programs aimed at helping people help themselves.  The Foundation was set up to empower people in the community with knowledge, skills and resources to become active and self-fulfilled members of the community for themselves and future generations because with knowledge comes strength.

The Foundation is Logan based but serves all South East Queensland from Hervey Bay/Maryborough and Sunshine Coast in the north, Stanthorpe, Gatton, Toowoomba and Esk in the west, Gold Coast and Hinterland including Beaudesert in the south and Moreton Bay, Capalaba, Redland Bay etc. in the east.

Our Results

Family & Kids-Care Foundation Inc is a leading Queensland charity with an annual income and expenditure of over one million dollars, helping over 15,000 disadvantaged people annually, with this figure steadily rising. 

• Feeding over 10,000 families through our Food Bank
• Impacting over 240 unsettled lives through counseling sessions
• Providing direct financial assistance to 220 people in need
• Restoring young people through job skills and substance abuse programs and emergency shelters
• Creating special memories for 1,000 terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged kids to go on
• Dayevents such as to Dreamworld, and more besides. . .
